A red lacquer and eggshell silver cigarette case

The rectangular case applied to both sides with red lacquer and egg shell, the front accented with a traversing band of red lacquer embellished with a geometric frieze, the push-button opening to reveal the gilt interior and hinged cigarette barrier, 1920s, maker's mark for the great box makers Strauss Allard Meyer, French assay mark for silver, numbered L87292 to the exterior, numbered 16123 to the interior.
