Realistically designed as a Stag beetle, the body composed of a facetted pink topaz, the body, legs and pincers set with rose- and circular-cut diamonds, the eyes embellished with a cabochon emerald, mounted in gold-backed silver, English, circa 1840. Length from pincer to end of leg: 4.9cm.
